Olga is a talented ballerina, who graduated from the Moscow Bolshoi Ballet Academy and subsequently danced many leading roles around the world. She worked with the most famous choreographers of our time. Since childhood she has had another passion: between rehearsals and performance, she enjoyed sketching scenes of backstage life. Alongside her ballet career she worked as a painter, collaborating with interior designers. Some of her compositions have found a home in private collections. Working in oil or acrylic and gold leaf, she has come up with a unique and new genre, depicting the daily life of ballerinas: in moments of reverie, in dance, behind the curtains, on stage… Each painting fascinated by combination of colours, the body lines of dancers and the atmosphere of the moment, masterly expressed on canvas. Finest 24k gold leaf has a fragile luxury. Working with it is extremely difficult, but the effect is worth it: gold gives the paintings a style reminiscent of imperial theatres. By
